BROWN SUGAR PECAN COOKIES

1/2 cup of butter or margarine

1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, packed

1 egg

1 1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, brown sugar and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop dough by teaspoons 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
